More Information On Joseph Wayne Kastl
Mr. Kastl retired from the Air Force after seven years as a Senior Judge on the (then) Court of Military Review. He is admitted to practice before the US Supreme Court and all military courts. As a judge, he was a well-respected craftsman of opinions and declared the military death penalty unconstitutional. He has taught at the graduate law school level as well as presenting short courses at military judges’ conferences. He has been featured on television, including C-Span. For almost a decade, he wrote over 30 published cases per year; they are printed in the Military Justice Reporter. He served as the Air Force Legal Advisor to the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff.
