What Will They Twink Of Next?
Northern California winery, Murphy-Goode, made a bold maneuver to break into the social media arena with the “Real Goode Job”. Hard to pass up for some people. the “Real Good Job” offered an Internet savvy wine aficionado $10,000 a month for six months to tweet and blog about wine and the wine country. Included in the 6-month ‘job” is the use of a house in Healdsburg, a lovely town just north of San Francisco.
Coveting the customer is more important now than ever before and consumer relations or lack thereof can be the moving force in customer loyalty. By engaging consumers with real time taste tests and information on wines and the area, this could definitely put Murphy-Goode in the role of “trend setter”.
With 2,000 applicants, Murphy-Goode caught the eyes of many. Ten made it to the finals who met Healdsburg. Below is from the “meet and greet” on Saturday evening.
Can you really mix wine with the Internet?
Hardy Wallace @goodetobefirst thinks so, he’s not only an Atlanta IT guy, he was the last man standing as the chosen one for the “Real Goode Job.”
Congratulations and many, many kudos goes to Hardy Wallace. We’ll be watching.
