Given up for adoption at birth, malnourished and deprived of love and affection as well as solid food for the first 8 months of her life, Sue’s life was miraculously spared. Her testimony of rejection, adoption, a storybook childhood, and 4 years of depression before God revealed His purpose for her life is a fascinating tale of how a life thrown away can be salvaged into a thing of beauty and usefulness. Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1968, Sue went into full time Christian work in Lexington, KY counseling both students and adults while also managing a Christian coffee house. Sue gave a class at New Life Church several years ago and I fell back into the trap again so I called her for help.

She’s wonderful to work with. I like the virtual part. I took pictures and emailed them to her and scheduled a phone call. She gave me assignments to complete before the next call. She made suggestions of what containers and stuff to buy. I made pictures of my progress so she could see the before and after. I’m 71 years old and live in the basement of my child’s home. It is one room 32 feet long. Now I have it divided into 6 areas. Sue is easy to work with, very supportive. She cheers you on every step of the way.

Sue is good at what she does. She taught me to organize parts of my house. She’s fun and likes to laugh. Knows what she’s talking about. She’s hands on.

I used to be in an administrative role in a very large church. I asked Sue McMillin to come speak. She did a workshop for 2,000 women. It was so good we asked her to come back six months later. Her workshops are one of the most fabulous things we’ve done for the women of our church. She’s very fun and engaging, she makes people laugh. We really love her.

I’m on staff at the church Sue attends. One of my duties is to oversee the small groups and she was a small group leader.

Sue is a very good woman. Extremely talented. She did some work for my wife at home and did such a good job I used her again for my whole department of 14 people. The word got around of how good she was and I believe she did several other departments at the church.

  • Cathy Thomas says:

I met Sue McMillin at an organizing seminar where she was a guest speaker. She is very energetic and fun to work with. She’s highly motivated and helped me organize a very messy sewing room, kitchen and basement. She not only taught me how to organize, but how to maintain the organization which I have been able to maintain. Meeting Sue was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
